1. Monash International Merit Scholarship
Monash University offers this scholarship for graduation and post graduation courses.It offers about 31 scholarships every year amounting 10000$. There’s a separate application for Undergraduate and Post graduate courses scholarship. Students are assessed on basis of their academic and curricular achievements. Finally students making into merit list after assessment are offered enrollment.
2. Abdul Kalam Scholarship for Postgraduate in Australia
This scholarship is offered for post graduation course to all the international students. It is valued at 50% of tuition fees and tenable for only for one year. The applicant who fulfills the parameter of 75% in their under graduation with an unconditional offer of admission for a master by course work programme in Engineering faculty. The scholarship is allocated by scholarship committee after assessing the academic merits.
3. Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship
University of Melbourne, VIC offers this scholarship. It includes 10 scholarships that fully remit the tuition fee for every year of course and 20 scholarships that provide a remission of Aus $10000. The selection is based on assessment of academic records with provision for quotas for specific region and course.
4. RMIT International Excellence Scholarship
RMIT University, VIC provides this scholarship to international students for undergraduate and post graduate courses. It provides coverage of 20% of full tuitionfees of entire duration of degree. Students who have achieved 70%overall or more than that in last qualification with simultaneous GPA of 2.5 to 4 are eligible to apply for it.
Scholarships Offered by Canada
1. Ontario Graduate Scholarship
It is supported by Provincial Governments for post graduate levels. Funds from government contribute for 2/3 of value whereas remaining 1/3 is funded by university. There are total 5 scholarships, the eligibility for which is first class graduate degree with 80% or above and 2LORs with transcripts.
2. Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship
Offered by Canadian Government, 167 scholarships are awarded annually.
Scholarships worth 50000 $ per year for 3 years in PhD programme are awarded. Academic excellence, research potential and leadership are 3 core criterias for assessment .The candidates are required to be nominated by Canadian Institution .Meanwhile Academic excellence represents academic results, transcripts and distinctions. Research and Leadership stand for research history and personal achievements.
Scholarships Offered by United Kingdom
1. Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford University for International Students.
It is a post graduate award, being the oldest and perhaps most prestigious international scholarship programme in world. Indian and other international students opting for post graduate programme are offered this scholarship worth 14,276 British Pounds per annum with flight fares for arrival and departure. It generally has time line of July- October of preceding year.
2. Bristol University Think Big Scholarship
Offered by University of Bristol in graduate and post graduate programme .This scholar ship is offered to Indian and other International students for graduate courses, except for medicine and vet naryscience and also for one year full time post graduate programme taught in university .There are 12 scholarships for undergraduates and 35 scholarships for post graduates. The application
deadline is march for undergraduate and June for postgraduate.
3. University of Westminster Full International Scholarship
It is one of the most competitive scholarship that is opened to international students from developing countries at undergraduate level. Full tuition fee waiver accommodation cost, living expenses, flight fares are covered under it. The applications are generally invited in month of May.
Scholarships Offered by United States of America
1. Tata Scholarship – Cornell University
Offered for Undergraduate course by Tata Education and Development Trust to Indian students passing 12th class. However to apply for this scholarship the applicant must already have received an admission offer of Cornell University .The scholarship is generally provided to attend 20 scholars.
2. Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship
For those aspiring to do MBA, Reliance Industries offers this scholarship. It is only for Indian Citizens studying at Stanford Graduate School of Business. It covers about 80% of tuition fee.
3. Fullbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship
Funded by United States India Educational foundation for specifically PhD scholars from India. Scholars who are selected are invited to USA for 6-9 months of fellowship where pre doctoral level researches are carried out. Monthly expenses along with flight fares are covered under it.
