English Proficiency Test

For candidates going abroad (for immigration or studies) , scoring well in English language proficiency tests is mandatory. They require specific guidance and help in preparing for these examinations. These are mostly computer based exams. IELTS 

(International English Language Testing System) is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. It is mutually managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English. It consists of 4 sections i.e. listening, speaking, reading, writing.  IELTS is one of the major English-language tests in the world, the other tests being TOEFL. IELTS is accepted by most countries, by over 3,000 academic institutions in the United States and by various professional organizations across the world. 

TOEFL

(Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities. It consists of Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing tests.  It is one of the 2 major English language proficiency tests, the other being IELTS. This test is typically used by American Universities. IELTS is the only Secure English Language Test approved by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) for visa clients applying for UK. It also meets requirement for immigration to Australia, New Zealand & Canada.

PTE Academic

 (Pearson Test of English Academic) is an English language test designed to assess the readiness of non-native English speakers to participate in a university-level English language instruction program.  Pearson created PTE Academic in response to demand from institutions for an accurate way of testing non – native English language students who enter the English-speaking academic world. It is a computer-based exam which focuses on real-life English used in academic environment. PTE Academic is endorsed by the Graduate Management Admission Council. London Business School in the UK, Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Yale University in the United States accept PTE Academic scores.
