Apart from these charges, there might be incidental expenses like travelling to appear for IELTS, getting all documents attested and apostilled in India, Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) and others.
Further, you also need to show some funds to assure Canadian government that you have access to sufficient amount of money to take care of you and your dependants livelihood till the time you get a job and are able to earn a living.There is a bare minimum that you are supposed to bring with you when you are coming on PR but you are advised to bring as much money you can bring in as possible legally.The bank statement along with letter from bank are acceptable proof of funds available to you. Please always remember that the conversion rate of currency keeps fluctuating. Always show funds in excess of the required funds to tide over any such future fluctuations. Also, remember that any money that comes into Canada that is in excess of 10000 CAD per person needs to be mandatorily declared at customs check point as otherwise it is a criminal offence.
